General Questions
What is Rumble Royale?
Rumble Royale is a competitive martial arts league hosting tournaments, master classes, and high-level training events for athletes of all ages and skill level.
Who can compete in Rumble Royale events?
Our league and events are open to all athletes of all ages, ranks, schools and teams; unless otherwise stated for a specific division or class.
Do I have to be from a specific school to compete?
Nope! Rumble Royale is open to all schools, teams, and independent competitors.
Tournament Questions
How are divisions organized?
Divisions are grouped by age, rank, and experience level to ensure fair and competitive match ups.
What divisions are offered?
Divisions include point fighting, forms, weapons, board breaking, demo team, and specialty divisions depending on the event!
Can I compete in multiple divisions?
Yes! We encourage it, as more divisions mean more experience for you to level up. Competitors may compete in as many divisions as they’d like as long as they’re registered for those divisions.
What equipment do I need to compete?
Required equipment varies by division but may include uniforms, sparring gear, weapons, etc.. Please review the rulebook to see an up-to-date list of required gear for the division you’re competing in. Rulebook
Is there day-of registration?
Registration policies vary by event. Check the event page for specific deadlines. To try and provide the most accurate competition times we try to finalize entries to divisions the night before the competition.
Master Classes & Mastery Series
What is the difference between a Master class and the Mastery Series?
Master Classes are a set of classes usually held the day before the competition taught by instructors from all around the country.
The Mastery Series are a separate event geared towards athletic progression taught in multiple classes with different instructors across different disciplines in one event.
What skill levels are taught in classes?
Classes are typically offered at a beginner, intermediate, and pro level depending on the class. We have recommended age groups for each class, but it comes down to what your skill level in that skill set is.
Do I need to bring my own equipment?
Yes. Participants should bring their own weapons, sparring gear, training equipment, etc.. unless otherwise stated.
Spectators & Guests
Are spectators allowed?
Yes. Spectators are welcome and encouraged at our events.
Is there a spectator fee?
Some events require a spectator fee. Pricing is listed on the event page.
Can spectators take photos or videos?
Yes! Highlight and post your athletes and tag us! By attending any Rumble Royale event spectators acknowledge that photos and videos may be taken for marketing purposes.
Awards & Scholarships
What awards are given at competitions?
Awards typically include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for divisions, as well as special recognitions such as Overall Awards or Judges’ Choice.
How do scholarships work?
Scholarships may be awarded based on performance, skill, and sportsmanship among others. Every scholarship has it’s own criteria. Scholarships may include but are not limited to free events, divisions, and master classes.
Do I need to be present to receive an award or scholarship?
Attendance is strongly encouraged, especially for the awards ceremonies. We do reserve the right to pass a scholarship and/or award to someone else in attendance if you’re not present at the time it is given.
Registration & Payments
Are registrations refundable?
Registration fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the event policy.
Can I transfer my registration to another person?
We are unable to transfer registration to another person/s.
Are discounts or promo codes available?
Yes! Discounts are offered for early registration, flash sales, special events, through ambassadors, and more. Follow our Instagram to know what specials and promotions are currently active.
Ambassador Program
What is the Ambassador Program?
The ambassador program is an exclusive program that allows athletes and community members to represent Rumble Royale, promote events, and support the martial arts community. While also getting exclusive merch, events, and discounts for themselves and their followers.
How do I become an ambassador?
